Dar es Salaam Hotels

Out of all the cities in Tanzania, the one most popular among the tourists is Dar es Salaam. This city, with a name that means “Haven of Peace” in Arabic, is the country’s economic center, educational center, and unofficial political center. In addition to that, Dar es Salaam is also Tanzania’s center for tourism. Blessed with several beautiful beaches and numerous historical spots, thousands of tourists flock to this city especially during the summer. And of course, where there are tourists, there will also be hotels. But before anything else, first ask yourself how much you’re willing to spend on accommodations. If you’re staying on a tight budget and would like to save some money, then I recommend going to Pop Inn Hotel or Tamarine Gues House. Located at Sofia Kakawa Street, these two offer the most inexpensive fees in the whole city. Make sure you don’t expect fresh flowers every morning and champagne in a bucket of ice, though. Another option would be to go to CEFA Hostel. You’ll find it in Mikocheni B, right on the Old Bagamoyo Road. What’s good about this place is that it’s clean and inexpensive and has good service. There’s also some wi-fi connection so you can actually be pretty comfortable there. If you’re looking for hotels that are not too cheap and not too expensive, then Peacock hotel, located in Dar Center, would be perfect for you. The rooms are quite luxurious and have good air conditioning and even have a nice pool where you can swim in. If you have the cash to burn, however, then I suggest going to Kilimanjaro Keminski, Southern Sun, Movenpick Royal Sun. These are the most high-end hotels in the city and have excellent service.
